MVFA's Working Philosophy The Artist at MVFA In general, all created works at Mohawk Valley Fine Arts reflect three subjects: *The Ohio Native, *the Early Settler, and the ever-present... * Canopy of Nature. These three subjects are represented as a theme in the Artist's own Ohio Woodland Theophany-- which serves as the actual working philosophy of the Studio/ Gallery. (See "Theophany" in the Menu-Index of this website.)
With respect to the historical aspect of Mohawk Valley Fine Arts, the Art Center is dedicated to preserving the history and culture of "Native" Ohio ("O-hee'-o") in Studio Applications -- especially relative to an Irish-Iroquois Cultural Exchange
